Small Gods
The songs of gondoliers echo across the water as birds call, wheeling and darting through tranquil spring air. The last rays of the setting sun shimmer on the surface of the canal, an iridescent mirror to the peachy skies of a warm Venetian evening. Waves lap gently at a nearby dock. Today seems peaceful. Tomorrow beckons with the promise of another new and beautiful illusion.
Across The River and Into The Trees is inspired by the classic Bellini cocktail of prosecco with a dash of peach puree. This is a light, refreshing, dry, sparkling ale with a clean fruity peach character. We took a lean and light base of pilsner, ale and wheat malts with added generous additions of both peach juice and peach puree. This was dry hopped with new season Rakau and Motuka hops for a delicate perfumed stonefruit aroma. Fermented bone dry and carbonated to a bright, sparkling spritz for the ultimate in drinkability.
