Small Gods X Citizen

When Orpheus was a child, the god Apollo gifted him a golden lyre and taught him to play it whilst his mother, the muse Calliope, taught him to write entrancing lyrics. With his musical talents Orpheus could charm even the rocks and stones. He used his lyre in a forlorn attempt to rescue his wife Eurydice from the underworld and was the harpist and companion of Jason and the Argonauts whom he saved from the Sirens with his beautiful music. When Orpheus finally passed away his Lyre was hurled into a river. Zeus, ruler of the gods, sent an eagle to retrieve the lyre and placed it in the sky where it sits to this day as the constellation Lyra.
